Filomena Marturano tells the story of a humble woman with a big heart, forced to work in a brothel as a prostitute. Domingo Soriano, an older man, finds her and keeps her as his mistress for more than 30 years.
Years later, after giving up her life for Domingo, in her deathbed, Filomena asks him for one last wish: to become his wife. Once Domingo accepts and a judge marries them, she wakes up, having faked her illness and in perfect health.
Full of rage, Domingo will do anything to get a divorce. But there is one other secret that Filomena has kept from him, a secret that will change everything.
